God has called the Southgate SDA Church Family to surrender our will to His Holy Spirit, that we might live, love, and reflect the kingdom of God to the Sacramento Community. We agree that a growing relationship with Jesus can only be established by our prayers, Bible Study, and Christian Service. We are committed to preaching and teaching the unadulterated word of God, and by his grace, and obeying His 10 Commandments, which are a transcript of the character of God. We are grateful for the joy of God’s saving grace, and by faith we eagerly look forward to the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as proclaimed in the everlasting Gospel.
About Seventh-day Adventists
Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.
